This shot is as close to
the
camera as you can get. The
wheel actually touched the lens as I took the picture.
Robert and I worked all day
to get his shot. He was great
at always looking at the
camera when I took pictures of him. I started taking pictures of
skaters in Reno, Nevada before I moved to California in 1978 to pursue a
career as Staff Photographer for Skateboarder Magazine. I guess the rest is
